The csv module reads rows as dictionaries, making columns accessible by name. For larger analyses, data frame libraries provide vectorised operations.

Always inspect missing values and data types before computing summaries; a single mis-parsed column can distort every result.

Keep raw data unchanged. Write transformations as functions so they can be tested and repeated.
